hi, recently ive been having this problem while launching live from the dock in osx.3.8/live 4.1.1:

ill launch live from the dock and before the live loading screen shows up the dock icon will just hang there and bounce for longer then usual.

i repaired permissions with disk utility...still same thing happnin.

anyone know how to fix this?

I haven´t heard of this. Do you have several Live versions installed?
Are you logged in as admin?

Sorry to rez this thread, but I'm having the same issue now. Bounces in the dock for awhile, then stops and never launches. Had it in 7.0.10,7.0.12 now also in 7.0.14. I have to restart my computer to be able to launch Live again.
Running Mac OS X 10.5.5, RME Fireface 400 / internal sound also on Macbook, Novation Remote SL compact as midi controller.
Any thoughts on how to get Live to launch again without restart?
