bad latency with m-audio audiophile

Post by evs » Sun Mar 27, 2005 10:04 pm

hi,
after updating the driver to version1.41 i get real bad latency in live4. buffer size to 512 and i have 25ms latency. i can´t get under 12ms with the audiopgile (but i can go to 1 with the intern soundcard...).
bevor the update i had i think 20ms latency, which is not good either...
i´m a little bit in fear to update to 10.3.8 and to 1.43 (audiophile driver) because i have heard so much bad storys )about 10.3.8)... anyone got a idea what to do?

do any other audiophile owner got the same bad latency?
(i´m working with 44,1 khz)

...or is it all better with 10.3.8 and 1.43???

thanks!
