Hi, Live is not appearing as a D&D target when dropping from explorer, Windows 7.

Go back to 8.3 and it's fine.

I've tried this with Live open on it's own and then with Soundforge open, so I can clearly see Live is not a target when dragging the file over it, but when I then move on to Soundforge I can drop it in there.

I can't reproduce the problem dragging 16/24 bit waves to the Live gui under Windows 7
Which formats are you dragging?, is it compressed mp3, ogg or alike?.

Hi. Hmmmm... i'm dragging a 16 bit wav back into Live that I've just exported from Live.

I've tried dragging .mp3s and files from other locations aswell with no joy.

Please upload a few of the problematic files and send me the download link, we are not able to reproduce the problem and need info.

- If you are using windows 7, do you have admin rights. (locate the live.exe, right click and see which rights you have to run this application)
- I see you tried dragging from other locations, did you try from a flash drive or USB stick?

It's literally happening with all audio files.

Live is set to run as administrator. This is happening on both Windows 7 installations I have (one is Pro, one is Ultimate)

Hi Lee,

The file loads fine by dnd from the windows browser here. To get closer to this problem please contact support at [email protected] since there is something on your system that would prevent this from working - which is not a general audio file nor Live problem. They have a chance of inspecting your system. I hope to see this analyzed and fixed.
