alright guys ive been producing for about a year now. just as a hobbie and im starting to take it a bit more seriously now, upto now ive been producing hard trance and hardstyle but ive really been getting into tech trance, dont really know where to start when it comes to producing it tho. ive seen the sonic academy tutorial for it and to be honest its not the best. im looking to produce bryan kearny, indecent noise, joc (under joint operations centre) ect ect. my main goal is to learn how to make that chuggy sort of percussion/hats and mabye a little help with the bass.

this is the sort of sound im looking for
http://soundcloud.com/bryankearney/kear ... -way-bryan

any help would be very much apreciated

What tutorial did you watch? some of the beginners ones on youtube are over 5 years old... things have come along way since then.
