Hi,
I had the Rapture 1.22 running over hours with no lock up.
Please tell us which version you are testing with, and if there are certain steps to make the crash/freeze happen on our systems.
When getting a crash, please send the crashreport to
[email protected]
best,
Mads

Hi
I have the crash on both my laptop and main DAW, both win 7 64 SP1, both i7.
The note 'freezes' then glitches in to and endless loop (the dub step guys would probably like it)
Have to shut live to recover. I have sent the crash report subject title rapture crash 64 bit.
FYI my new DAW PC is virgin, just out of the box last Friday so about as clean as yoiu can get for crash reporting (presently!)
All other presets (aside from iZotope, already reported) A OK.

Hello,
confirmed here too on 8.4b2 and 8.4b3
Live always crash a short time after using RApture x64 VST plug
Tested with several sets and also in an empty set containing only one track and this plug - Crash reports already sent
Maybe, it should be added to known issues in order to avoid user headache until it's OK
Best
EDIT : I use rapture 1.2 (latest)

Hello,
Ableton Live crashes again with rapture with latest beta 8.4b4
Configuration:
windows 7x64
intel i7
motherboard gigabyte X58A-UD3R
soundcard Edirol UA-101
EDIROl PCR-800 connected during test (other MIDI devices shutdown / no midi translator used
rapture VST x64 1.2
Crash condition:
Live always crash in any set using Rapture
Test performed to isolate cause:
a) open an empty set
b) insert rapture plugin
c) select a preset in rapture
d) play some notes / try to play some melody with keyboard (< 1 minute)
e) after some time playing, sound becomes a glitchy continuous noise (like if a short noise was looped)
f) then Live crash some sconds later
Note : Audio soundcard seems to not be released by Live each time ableton crash ... and I have to reboot my computer...
Best

[MAL] was right-> problem is fixed with Rapture 1.2.2 !
I don't know I missed it last time I checked wakewalk website.
For those like me who have to buy new glasses (true

), link is here :
http://www.cakewalk.com/Support/product.aspx/Rapture
My remaining problem are now only with some jbridged x32 plugins (BFD ECO 1 last update before 1.5 x64)
Thanks [MAL] and sorry for my visual trouble!

Hi,
small bump here!
Stephan327 and Sean_clarke - did you try updating to 1.22?.
On the described platform win 7 / 64 with a full version of Rapture we are not seeing these crashes.
When you see this crash please send in the crash report to
[email protected] or
[email protected] and note this happened with the 8.4b5 version of live.
best,
Mads
