Depends.

How important are full size keys to you? How important are drum pads to you? Answer those and you know which to get.

The akai is for portable. small keys. integrated drum pads and bank of knobs.

The oxygen is more for studio. larger, with faders.

it depends on what you are buying it for and what you plan to do with it.

The MPK Mini has tiny shitty keys, low profile knobs, and no pitch or mod wheels.
Great on a train if you want to look like a hipster in triangle world.

In the real world though, the Oxygen has 49 full sized keys, transport controls, great rubbery knobs, 9 sliders, 9 switches, pitch, mod, track-control....

So do you want to be a twat, or a music producer?

I third that. As a first, that is quite well rounded and the keys are more useable.
