I hear you about chrome being a good web browser. I use it since now more that one year and ditched firefox and safari...

I don't want google to have the analytics of my browsing for free. I don't get why people dare to do so for free.

If Chrome was such good browser I'd buy it rather than providing whole browsing history for free. Sry, it is offtopic.

Install Ghostery, Do Not Track Plus, Vanilla Cookie Manager and the IBA Opt-out extensions to avoid all of the above.
