sorry, newbie question.
My Oxygen8 midi keyboard has a bunch of dials and a slider. How do I make them do something in Live, i.e. assign them to controls of a soft synth etc?

In the top right corner of the screen there are 2 buttons. key, and midi. the 'key' button allows you to assign lives knobs etc to you computers keyboard. The midi key allows you to assign things to your midi instrument.

Hey, what if Live is recognizing all dials as C6? I try to assign the different dials to different parameters but they when I physically move them for Live to read them, they're all captured as C6, and not as multiple dials, as they are.
Any idea of what's happening?
Thanks

Ignore that and tthen move the dials and see if they were broken out to the assignments you made.

Hey, many thanks for the quick reply. I did something else: I reset the Oxygen to factory settings and it came back to normal life.

If it freaks again go to Live's Preferences/MIDI and select the Oxygen 8 v2 as your MIDI device.
