Ableton Forum

Ableton seems to be lacking the ability to audition loops from another computer using Windows 7 Homegroup. In fact, anything external to the computer running Ableton seems absolutely invisible to Ableton, as if I'm running a program from the 90's. I can successfully audition loops within the Homegroup using Sonar X1 with the same two machines. It's hard for me to believe the thorough and excellent programmers at Ableton would neglect to program such a useful and necessary function. Surely I must be mistaken?
