Anyone know what the difference between the two versions are? Which is better?

i got one that came with the APC and one that came with my gf's m-box.. i couldn't tell any difference.. both have the same limited amount of midi and audio tracks..

Yeah, the akai one has some akai sounds.
I'm wondering if it makes a difference which license to upgrade?
