macbook pro OS X 10.6.8
licence Live 8 lite
Updated to Live Lite 8.3.3
Installed Live 8.4b3 and authorized it OK, but what is running is 8.3 Lite even though the file is " Abelton Live 8 Beta.app"
Installed full version of Live 8.3.3 with a 30 day license and then start the Beta app OK, until the authorization.
Website account link shows only info for Lite install with no option to activate Beta without a new serial #.
Tried the hardware code option without success.
What am I missing?

Generally Live lite users should also be able to install and unlock the beta.

But as I read it, when you installed the 8.3.3 release you did not activate it before downloading / installing the beta.
As a precondition, please install the 8.3.3 and activate it with a non-trial license before installing the beta.

If this does not work please get in touch with support at [email protected], they would be able to correct activation issues with your account.

I tried to follow your installation, activation steps. But did not see the same issue.
Did support help you resolve this problem?. If not please open another thread on the topic since I am unfortunately not making progress with the information at hand.
