with jBridged plugins, i cannot edit a synth and "play" ableton at the same time. also, the computer keyboard wont work. for example, i can't tweak a synth and play things as i go. it's a total workflow killer not being able to hear the changes you make until you click back into ableton. would cause me to not even bother with 64 (even though i need it badly!)

So this problem is specific to Jbridged plugins?. All bridged plugins or just some. Please list which you are using to test.
When reporting problems please tell us:
- which operating system you are using?
- Which version of Jbridge?

i'm using Mac OSX Lion on a 2010 Macbook Pro

the problem was happening on u-he zebra and my UAD plugins

i'm using the newest version of jBridge

it seems specific to jbridged plugins

Since this is a third party application, there is not much we can do. But I have notified the Jbridge development of the issue and linked to this thread.

This problem has been in Live for years. I get it all the time with Aalto. Aalto's dev posted about it recently:

it seems to be linked to higher CPU usage plugins, and occurs alongside the dreaded out-of-nowhere instant latency problem.
