This looks kind of snazzy. Does anyone have this already? If so, what did you use it for?

Hi, you can try out the Partner Instruments Compilation pack which feat samples of both of those SonArte packs.

I have the Glass instrumente.... Got some interesting sounds out of it, but the longer I had it, the more I regretted purchasing. Too pricy for soo many similar sounds. Maybe a better deal now with the bundle.
Have you heard of Soniccouture Glassworks? You may be interested in checking it out (though pricier)

To be honest, I've just plucked all the -nice- source samples out of all those instruments. Either use them in simplers or make my own racks. But there are some decent racks in the Sound Objects. I did not like the Crystal sample racks as much as the Sound Object racks either. Sound Objects is a beautiful thing. Really enjoyed those samples.

Yeah the Sound Objects definitely looked like the better buy.

Interesting to hear the chorus of opinion on the one pack. I notice regularly they are priced 69 Euro ea. and the current saleprice is 79 Euro. So if you just wish for the Sound Objects you are paying for more than normal for just that pack BUT you receive the other pack, which you may rarely use, for only 10 Euro vs regular 69 Euro. It is smart of SonArte and Ableton if the Crystal pack does not normally sell well. Anyway, if you enjoy only the SO pack then this deal may not be for you. I think it would have been better to offer a discount for each pack, but there still might be some treasure to be found within the Crystal Sounds which is not hinted in the Live Partner Comp offering.
Personally, as much as I wish to own SO, I will wait for a better sale of SO, as I have good samples already. Someone else may enjoy the deal more however!

Anybody getting an itchy trigger finger for this? Deal ends tomorrow. I tried a few of the dev pack samples and am kinda deciding against it. For now... Dammit - these sales always get me going!

No, I was hoping more for a discount on each of the packs. I really wish to own SO one day. Creative excellent sounds. I do not need the Crystal pack.

I picked it up due to the pricing for the packs vs individual ones. I just got it last night and haven't had time to install it onto my DAW/Laptop systems. I still have to search for EIC 2 from the Live 8.3 boxed installtion. And have to find at least one of my old Puremagnetik packs I got when I signed for a years worth of their items. Metalsphere, Technosphere, etc...all had some cool stuff going on (dark ambient/soundscapes here, no d-n-b/hip-hop/etc...not my bag).
I did like the demo stuff done on both, one a bit more than the other but they seem to have some good possibilities. What I dislike is that most of this stuff is geared towards DJ/Club stuff, not much in regards to soundscapes/dark ambience unless I process the crap out of those genres stuff thru a SIR (which I do anyways

). Just prefer not to spend on those I don't/won't use.
