Sample help?

I have a sample in my drum rack but it only plays as long as i hold the pad. Any way to make it play from beginning to end by only tapping the pad once? I'm using an Akai MPK25 by the way.

go to options/prefs/launch (ctrl+,)
switch to 'trigger' in that first 'default launch mode' dropdown...sounds like it is set to toggle now....

I think that's for a Session clip, I'm pretty sure this is for drum racks.
To contribute, turn up the release time in the Sampler in the drum rack for that sample.

Drumrack could really do with a 1 shot mode per pad.

Simpler with a long release is basically this. Of course, I think there's an upper limit of 60 seconds, but I've never needed to go anywhere near that.
