Bounce in place.

Render what you hear and put it onto a new audio track, in place,
optionally disabling the original clip.

It's not exactly the same, but if you freeze the channel you want to bounce, you can drag it down on a new audiochannel. Somewhat of the same effect :-)

Yeah, well...
you know...

- Waiting for the whole track to freeze,
-Creating a new audio track,
-dragging the region you wanted to render to that new audio track,
- unfreezing the track so you can work on the other parts...

isn't the same as... Bounce in Place

Just like a "feature wishlist" is not the same as a "hey what's the workaround" list ;-)
I really do appreciate it, Kris, but I've gone back to real DAW's.

Fair enough, still faster than doing a proper bounce, importing again etc etc etc... But definitely, BIP like in Logic is much more efficient..
