Is there something similar to the effect rack for instruments in Ableton?

I ask because when using the APC 40 the effects rack assignable macros match the APC's device controls. I'd like that for an instrument too.

Yes of course.
Just do an instrument Rack!

Click on your instrument and press strg + g, or right click and group instruments. Now you can assign your own maccros.
