Hello boys and girls (are there any?),

I experience an issue with the long drop down menus such as input track selectors or hierarchical devices menu. I cannot scroll inside them. So if the menu goes beyond my screens real estate, well it's just unreachable. I thought it was due to my second screen being hooked up but it persist even if I disconnect the damn thing. Is there a workaround? Anyone experiencing the same problem?

English Version, Sir. By the way, I can go lower in the menu with arrow keys but I'm unable to see at what item I currently am as it will be beyond the screens real estate. So the menu is there but I cannot scroll it.

I don't have Live in front of me (at work) but can check at home. I believe mine scrolls.

to see if it's some preferences setting try deleting/hiding/moving your preferences.cfg file.

Thanks for the suggestion. Can you remind me where to find the file in MacOSX Lion?
Also, if I store it elsewhere and close and reopen Live, will it automatically recreate the file?

I don't speak Mac but a search on "preference.cfg mac" brought up some hits.

I don't know if it will recreate it.

another thing to try is to hold down shift while Live launches to get it to give you a clean project with no settings. I don't know exactly how many or which settings are set to default but it's an easier thing to try.

Ok neither the shift thing nor the preferences one didn't do the trick. Just so you know, it'll actually recreate the preferences file automatically.

I'm using 1440x900 screen resolution. The internal Ableton Live zoom is set to 100%.

wonder if it's because you don't have the latest version of some helper software like java or Quicktime or I don't know what. Quicktime comes up from time to time but that's for decoding audio. it's the scroll bar that's missing.

The system software update doesn't show any available items for me to download, if this helps.
Should I open a ticket with the support team?

looks like a bug to me, i would contact Ableton support...
