Strange CPU problems in Live 8 - PLEASE HELP

Post by abluesky » Sat Sep 08, 2012 4:34 am

Hi!

I've noticed some strange behavior in Live.

1. I compose a track. It's all good. Meter barely hits 70%
2. After a while, cpu begins to spike.
3. After restart and reboot - track unplayable.

Happens EVERY TRACK.

Very frustrating.

Full, legitimate install of Live 8 suite.

Using Operator, Reaktor, Diva (great mode), Permut8, Vintage Warmer, Valhalla Room, various delays. No cracks whatsoever.

Any help very much appreciated. I'm scratching my head over here.

Much thanks in advance,

ABS

SPECS: MBP Sandy 2.3 i7 8gig RAM SSD 10.8.1; latest 32bit version of Live 8

maybe trying some type of memory check would help. sounds like it could be bad RAM.
