dummy clips to trigger specific midi channels

Hi all,
I'm using numerology, and want to assign notes to presets and triggers it from dummy clips.
things work fine when notes are set to channel 1. but that channel is used by launchpad, meaning that if I mess with it I can trigger not wanted presets.
the solution was to set the triggering notes to another midi channel, let's say ch 5.
but now I can't find where to set the dummy clips to play notes at midi channel 5. the presets won't trigger anymore when launching the clips.
what am I missing here?
