Ableton Forum

I followed the XP optomisations at www.musicxp.net and now Live crashes during program startup (just after scanning plugins folder): "A serious program error has occurred. You should try saving your work.."

All my other audio apps work, just live seems crippled. ANy ideas?

I would try:
Copy the plugins folder, empty the old one (or keep a few in it).
If not OK, reinstall Live.
When OK, try to switch plugins folder back.
If not OK, some plugs are causing the problem.
