A Live wishlist from a Renoise user.

Ok, love Live. Don't love some things so much and need to get it off my chest. If anyone spots something that you can do already please tell me!
- Layered midi editing! Check out bitwig. In Renoise I can see and edit multiple notes from multiple channels at the same time. Once you've used a DAW with that it's a pain to not be able to.
- Zooming while dragging the mouse in the main arrangement view. Why do I have to move up to that small bar on top to zoom? I can move my view around easily with Ctrl+Alt left click without using the top bar, but can't zoom. Ctrl+Alt right click for zoom please?
- Better mix routing options. In Renoise I can send anything from anywhere, like send a frequency band right in the middle of my fx chain and have the option to keep that sent signal or not in my channel strip. In Live I'll have to do a phase invert hack to even be able to send something and not keeping the signal. Sure, there's other hacks like grouping etc but improvements are needed.
- Freeze track improvements. I mean, I even have to delete a sidechained compressor in my channel to be able to freeze it. Switching it off doesn't work. And the argument that Live does this so that session view 'works' doesn't apply, all Live needs to do is ask for dependency channels (a kick driving the sidechain or whatever) to be processed while freezing or not.
- Grouping of groups.
- Converting a vsti into a sample instrument. How Renoise does it is by going through notes e.g C2 - C5 in steps of 3 and length of 1 bar, then it puts those samples into the correct note ranges so you'll play them just as expected. Velocity range and step would also be a great option.
- Individual note edits such as pitch shifting one note on one instrument on bar X, not all notes on bar X.
- Fix the automation! It's very inaccurate right now, doing a jump from 0% to 100% on something won't happen exactly where you tell it to. Latency doesn't compensate properly I'm guessing.
- Purge memory option. I kind of know when I'm getting into bad territory for a crash due to lack of memory and would love to be able to dump the undo stack. 64bits will help immensely but still..
