Can't use any iTunes purchased music

Post by turnitto11 » Wed Sep 26, 2012 12:00 am

Beta 8.7b4. When I browse through my iTunes media, it won't let me use any songs that have been purchased from the iTunes store (pretty much everything with .m4a at the end of the file). It works fine in the non-beta 8.3.3. Just says "It may be corrupt or not-licensed" in the little bar by the bottom of the screen.

Using a MacBook Pro, 10.8.2 if it makes any difference
MacBook Pro (13", 2.7ghz i7, 16gb, 10.9), Suite 9

Hi Turnitto,

Unfortunately .m4a is part of the quicktime decoding which is currently not supported under 64 bit.
Information on the beta limitations can be found here;

Your m4a files should load and work if you use the 32 bit version, please let us know if that is not the case.

Hi,

I will lock this thread since we are aware of the problem, and since a workaround is listed.

Best,
Mads
