In 32bit Live8.3.4 when you drag&drop an audio clip to audio track,
it gets Follow action A: Next.

In 8.4. b7 the Follow action A is Other.

Hi Tone,

On both Win and OSX follow actions are set to none when dragging audio clips.

I think this is related to your other post, that there is something wrong with your preferences when importing audio using drag and drop.

Please try to same thing for this report, trash preferences but zip them before doing so, then we know if this is the problem.

What is the file I should delete?
And in which folder - Windows7.

Hi, the Preferences.cfg is stored under C:\Users\[Username]\AppData\Roaming\Ableton\Live 8.4b7\Preferences\.

I'd suggest simply renaming this file, so it's still available if there's need to use it again. And please remember that this action resets all your custom preferences settings in Live - you'd have to apply them again afterwards.

I deleted the preferences file and first it worked ok.
Follow action was Next.
But after few drag&drops,
next Follow actions were Other.
I'm sending you the first preferences file.

Sounds like we are getting a little closer to the issue. Please relay the preferences to [email protected].

I am wondering if the follow actions are embedded in the clips,
If you delete the preferences and drag in a new audio file you never previously loaded in Live, will you still see the follow actions?
