MIDI: Transposition track with possibility to exclude clips

please ableton devs, that would be very handy:
a global transpositon track with the possibility to include or exclude individual clips concerning whether they will be / will not be transposed.

because whenever i need to transpose a larger section of my project, i must resort to the pitch plugin. this then i must instantiate on all tracks where i want clips to be transposed, followed by automating the pitch parameter. all of that is quite much to do, while in cubase i just create a transposition track and then exclude whichever clips i do not want transposed (e.g. drums/percussion).

why not take it a step further. seems like MIDI send/return tracks would be good way to do this.

the MIDI return tracks could have options for I/O processing like "parallel" and "merged" to decide whether the inputs are processed as individual tracks or combined into a single set of MIDI notes and routed back into any number of MIDI tracks.

global options on the return track could also include the send and return insert point - either pre or post MIDI effects on the primary tracks. the MIDI send and return point could be adjusted on individual primary tracks by inserting a corresponding MIDI effect device.

would be sweet.
