Hi guys, anyone no how to do a huge pitch bend on a track. I have a real phat sustained bass synth one note over 4 bars and on the last bar I want it to do a huge pitch drop to make it sound like a big slow down in the synth. The pitch bend wheel doesnt seem to drop the pitch enough any other way of doing this so it sounds massive drop, please.

Try mapping a slow LFO to pitch?

you probably need to alter the pitch bend range on the synth your using.

If you were willing to bounce it to audio you could use the transpose envelope in the audio clip.

+1

life becomes so much easier when you render your midi to audio.

This. Pitch drop can only be as huge as pitch bend setting of your synth preset allows.

If it's made with Operator, you can automate the pitch envelope or the transpose parameter.

But transposing audio clips doesn't sound as buttery as a nice pitch bend, glide, or portamento...

Interesting how to you alter the pitch bend range for instance on the VST plugin pro53 pitch wheel, sorry im pretty new to using ableton.
