Viewing multiple waveforms & fx racks

I know this has been requested a million times before, but is there any word from Ableton on when/if they are ever going to make the user interface more configurable, or provide a different view?
Not being able to see multiple waveforms at the same time, or be able to view the fx faders at the same time as a waveform is ridiculously liming, when you see other UIs. I appreciate this is most useful for those (like me) who mainly use Ableton for DJing, but having a different screen layout, but given how many people use ableton like this, and how (relatively) easy it would be to introduce a new UI that doesn't require new functionality seems to be a continual oversight from Ableton over successive releases.
Apologies for the shoddy image, but something like this would be so useful, even if you had to jump back to a different view to change some settings (e.g.) clip settings, groove, quantisation, etc)
