live 9 for dubstep?

Post by mihai » Fri Oct 26, 2012 3:30 pm

can i/will i be able to make crazy dubstep with live 9?
does it come with massive and premade custom records mixed and mastered out of the box?
i heard there's automation; so i don't have to do anything?
will i need a computer for it or is it stand-alone?
are the curves like slopes?
how can i make a dope beat with the drums?
what famous artists used live 9 to make their beats?

i wish ableton would be more clear about all of this instead of all the secrecy.

he'll be reposting Tarekith's Guide To Sarcasm this afternoon.

you can do everything in Live 9 that you can do in Live 8, it will just sound better.

Live9 comes with AudioToMidi converter. Sometime in the future they may add an AnalogToDigital converter.

Yes, and then some. All you need to do is speak to it and it shall be done

when will this finally happen because i'm tired of the brittle/digital/cold/lofi audio engine sounding like it was coded in the 50s. 1850s.

I was so excited to upgrade my Live 7, and have Live as a backup DAW on my system, but you just killed it for me. Go ahead, make your dubstep...

Yuck!! I can't even go to clubs and parties in America anymore..
Linear Phase has left the building..

I remember trying AudioToMidi using VSTs such as these http://freemusicsoftware.org/category/f ... io-to-midi
and Live7.

I tried to find AnalogToDigital VSTs, but couldn't find any. Maybe CPUs aren't fast enough yet? Not enough cores?
