Constant Crashing on b8 - can no longer export/freeze

Basically been working fine all' weekend then it decided, completely randomly to start crashing constantly when trying to export a project I'm finished up with.
Gets to 10% = boom crashes. I was able to render all morning, and all evening last night test revisions.
I have not changed a single plugin or configuration on this computer (not even online).
Now when I try to back track to b5, it says its no longer authorized, so I'm stuck with b8.
Any reason WHY it won't allow me to freeze or export?
Trashed my pref and repaired my permissions. Trashing my prefs helped and was able to roll off a render, then when back to make one final tweak and it crashes.
Trashed pref. again repaired permissions, now won't allow ANY Freezing or rendering.
Went back to a older version of the same project, same deal.
Again I have not changed anything on my computer.
