I too would love to see any updates to Sampler.
Nothing yet.
Fingers crossed though.

Would be nice to have button to switch to a bigger GUI size in Sampler with all routing in one look.
That would make routing a lot easier and there would be no clicking to switch back and forth...

Funny how the "all in one window" philosophy has not been used there where it's really needed.
A bigger GUI for Sampler would just be great and fit a sound designers needs !!!

...and if you don't need the bigger size GUI, the button could bring it back to the usual view and size.

8O ... I just made a feature request !
Maybe too much, and it's going to be ignored anyways...

Updates to Sampler would be most welcome indeed, but looks like they haven't touched it for Live 9. :(

I've been hoping for timestretch in sampler since Live 6. I think Native Instruments must be paying them off to not add it so that Kontakt has more value. ;)

But seriously, the whole program is built on timestretching audio and they can't add it to sampler? Even the old impulse drum machine had a stretch knob so moving to drum racks actually makes you lose this feature.

The lack of attention to sampler has been very disappointing.

I would love to have round robin sampling added to Sampler - that is one of the only things that it doesn't do right now (or doesn't do without cumbersome workarounds) that I'd like to be able to do.

Would love time stretching on the fly. Maybe it's too technically difficult to do?

If it's quicker and easier than what I'm doing now I'd love to see it

Basically I have a drum rack/sampler set up with X number of samples, and a Random device in front set to however many steps I have samples for

It's not a huge amount of work for one, but to do a full kit of it with different numbers of samples for each, it becomes a pain in the butt

I just want start and end points and modulation depth to be macro mappable.

+1000! I've always wanted that.

I emailed support about time stretching in Sampler for Live 9, they said:

"Sampler will not have a timestretch function."

:(

Scrub the samples start and loop points is close enough in my book. Plus I can stretch in an audio track, resample and put it back in sampler if need be.

Yep, we've been asking for that since it came out (7 years?). Scrubbing is a feature that was lost from simpler. So using the advanced device loses both that from simpler and the stretch from impulse, so you lose the two coolest things from the free devices.
