presonus firebox not working with mountain lion

just got a new Mac mini with firewire 800 connection. I am using a new 800-400 connection. The audio card blue light blinks on and off.(not red)..and it will not be recognized in live as an audio card. Any ideas? thanks.

You have to use the Firebox 's AC adaptator.
