SL MkII remote script - lock to device does not work

Not sure if this is a hardware or software problem for me. Using the standard Novation SL remote script, the lock to device button is supposed to be the row select button for the top row of buttons above the rotary encoders. When I press this button the Live status bar says "Remote SL Unlocked from Instrument Rack" every time I try to lock to a device, and it never locks to the rack successfully. Has anybody else had this problem?
I love this keyboard, but this problem is pretty damn annoying because rotary encoders change along with the device focus whenever I launch clips with the Launchpad.

Same here. Reported to novation. Bug logged, hopefully fixed soon.

Hi, same issue here with Remote SL (not MkII).
I had reported this problem to Novation Tech Support on 1 December 2012, before discovering this topic.
One more perssonal question to any of you who's willing to test:
I'm experiencing a little issue also with the first two endless encoders.. they happen to jump backward/forward when moved in steps about 1 to 4 long amongst the 0-127 values.
I'm aware It actually could be a hardware problem due to time wear, but if someone could try and confirm I'd be really thankful!

FUCK that keyboard. my pitchbender broke and the xy pad is poo. as well as the so called drum pads. ive almost never used it to lock onto devices. i gave up trying
automap sucks willies

it's been long time...
Did someone found a way to lock a remote SL MKII to a selected device? Or why the lock button does not work for locking but only unlocking?

BTW, I tried with nativekontrol DDC but it's a little tricky and is not full working (led not enlighted)

It's 2019 an still Novation hasn't came with a fix for this... unbelievable :/
(I guess all hopes for a proper Remote SL script rely on Stray)
