Anyone use Live + APC40 + Maschine together?

Recently aquired an APC40. As this takes over all the functions my NI Maschine would have been used for as a controller/clip launcher in Live I am wondering how I can best use both Maschine + APC40 together in a live setting. Does anyone currently use both controllers for different things without redundancy?

APC40 to launch clips....maschine on an audio track. i was recently trying to use maschine for drumz, and to control ableton. i realized after about a month, that maschine can't come close to the apc40 in controlling live's functions.

Yep. Apc40 to control live clips, selected device and mixer/send/pans. Maschine to control Maschine software for drums and samples.

Thanks for the responses!

This has given me some ideas. Just trying to maximize (and yet keep simple) my live performance abilities. Essentially my set up shoudl hopefully mimic the PUSH with the added bonus of faders.

I also wonder about using Maschine FX plugin and perhaps dedicating Maschine to effects. I also seem to remember when I had a M-Audio Trigger Finger you could assign drum pad Midi pressure information to a parameter in Live so a dial can go from 0 to 127 depending upon how hard you pressed the pad, I'm sure such could be done with Maschine. Anyone try?

Hey - it's totally possible to map aftertouch/pressure to stuff in Live when Maschine is in midi mode. I have used the virtual midi from a VST instance of Maschine to play other sounds (while the controller was connected to that VST instance), but not mapped to anything (at least not at the same time).
