Hey every one, wondering if i could get a little help with this one.

In ableton 8 I am having an issue with play back. Il be working a long no problems and bam all of the sudden the quality goes to crap. it sounds like shit. glitchy, slowy and distorted. All I have to do is reset ableton and the issue is resolved. how ever in preparing to do a live set I cannot be re setting ableton every 30 minutes...

I am using ableton 8 and the novation twitch through USB.
the twitch is set up as wave.

Any help on this would be greatly appreciated. if you need more information let me know. I do have a sound card.

does your cpu meter spike over 100 when this happens?

No never. Ive never seen it go over 30%

Done! So your thinking this could be an issue through the twitch? Come to think about it ive never noticed it happening before i got the twitch.

I've actually been having a similar problem, just upgraded to OSX Lion with Ableton Suite 8.2.8 (upgraded from 8.2), I've been using a lot of the waves plugins on my sends (lots of sends), could this be what's up?

i updated my system to windows 7. issue resolved!
