Live 8.2.6; LPDEditor; Novation Automap 4.6, Midi-OX
Greetings,
I have found lots of the topics describing this issue but the deal wasn`t found anywere.
Is it possible to get those devices work in pair, I mean:
- use LP in the ableton native mode (scenes, mixer, etc.)
+
- have a possibility to map U!, U2 modes
+
- have a possibility to use LPD8 CC and PAD buttons
+
- and so the LPD-8 still have an automap function for its knobs

I`ve found a suggestion to switch the LPD8 midi channel to 16, so it doesn`t interact with the LP midi commands. But in this case the automap option for LPD`s knobs dissapears (strange, but it works only in the midi channel 1 mode).
I`m not very familiar with the MIDI language/commands but should I try to tweak Ableton`s control surfaces or Automap 4.6 midi-channels?

Any good advice will reveal the Knowledge

Should I tweak Ableton preinstaled LPD script and change the global channel in it? For example, midi channel 16 in LPDEditor, and global channel in the control surface script 16 either?
Any insight will be appreciate. Been searching all day long
