MIDI output while in Rewire mode, also Effects & Instruments

This one is (in my opinion) ridiculous. Everything about both Live and hosts like Cubase even make it appear this is possible, but it isn't and I've concluded that it's Lives fault, because it simply doesn't output MIDI while in slave mode. It makes you wonder: why is it even possible to use Live in Rewire mode if you can't use effects, can't use instruments, and can't use MIDI. That leaves very little.
