Live 9 "convert to midi notes" equivalent until release...

Hey guys -
Like all of you, I'm eagerly awaiting for live 9. One of the main features I was waiting on the most, is the convert to midi from an audio file. So basically, all the ideas I sing out in my phone will turn into songs even easier.
However, I already do have a method to convert from audio, and that's from melodyne. I was curious to know if there's an easier way rather than loading melodyne, singing into it or loading a file, and converting to midi.
Any ideas would be cool to know!
