Live Lite, Guitar Rig 5 and a VST ?

Hello from Brighton East Sussex UK.
Looking for information I want to run Guitar Rig 5 and a VST as GR5 will not run a VST is my best option to use Live Lite 8 that came with my Focusrite 2i2 interface ?
I run windows 7 64 bit and a Toshiba Satelite Pro.
Any input will be most appreciated.
