Pops when playing MIDI

Hello,
I have very simple setup AKAI MPK Mini -> MacBook Air ( Core 2 duo 1.6 ghz, 4GB of RAM, SSD drive). I'm loading only one MIDI instrument, mo mater which (drums, piano, synth.. etc.) from Ableton's library. And when I play more than 3 tones it starts to pop. If I record, the pops are still there. CPU gets about 14% -16 %, free memory is about 2 G
My audio settings are:
No input device,
Built in output,
44100,
512 buffer,
0 DEC.

I tried to increase buffer to 1024 but no change. It pops.

In Logic, Main Stage and Maschine - no problems.

Any ideas what to do?

Trying using ASIO4All ASIO audio driver? All I can think of but don't have a Mac so can't be of much help.

Ah, forgot about that. I would suggest you look into the audio/midi settings for your system then. You should have enough memory for this easily. Do you have any antivirus running you could disable while trying to determine the issue? Turn stuff off/disable what you can (is there a MAC tweak site like the ones for Windows?).

Good luck.
