IPAD Holders

Hi All,

Can anyone recommend a good brand of ipad holder.

Am thinking that something witha gooseneck would be good. Amazon uk reviews I have seen all seem to say the ones available are pretty flimsy and move around a lot.

Am looking to make my studio a bit more ergonomic and also use it for gigs (so needs to be sturdy).

Thanks in advance for your words of wisdom...

Some discussion here: viewtopic.php?p=1389659#p1389659 but the consensus is that there isn't really a perfect stand on the market... yet...

I've moved from my Luxa2 H4 to one of these:

Not as solid as the H4, but is better for me as I need to carry the stand around a lot...

BTW, I'll be selling my H4 soon if you're interested... :)

Hi

If you want one with a gooseneck, maybe the Monkey Kit is what you want:

or the new iKlip Stand from IK Multimedia:

Thanks for the replies.

Looks like I may go the gooseneck path. Not monkeytail though as $100 is a bit much - thinking industrial gooseneck with universal mount and then get a connector to hook up an ipad clip type thing.

Also, thinking about doing the same with my monitor and wacom tablet so i could sit on the floor and work on my modular but be able to look at the screen / interact with live.

Exciting stuff if I can find holders / clips easily....

I think they are around the $90 mark.

Post back and tell us what you ended up with. :)
