Mapping Looper's buttons to Macros?? is this possible?

Hi, I'm trying to work out why on earth you can't map the Looper Device's buttons to Macro Knobs in a Grouped device.

You can map buttons to Macros dials on every other device, but mapping things like the reverse button on Looper is not.

Seems strange to me...

I agree that all the buttons should be mappable to macros.
And I hope ableton take another look and improve the looper for better live usability.
Maybe there's still some chance it'll happen before the live 9 release.
Being able to paste loops into tracks with a midi command is my biggest wish at the moment.

Oh, that's not quite what I meant, but it would be incredible as well.
I was talking about the looper, where one has to drag the waveform into a track in order to save a recorded loop.
I wish that could be done via midi.
