This seems to be a thing.
Multiple crossfaders would be glorious.
Simply label each track with a crossfader number (Up to eight or more, in sets of two) and crossfade between them.

You can do this with an Effects Rack. Simply create a chain for each track (Track A, Track B for example) that you want to cross fade between, drag the blue Zone to opposite ends for each chain (which will be your two tracks) and mute Track B in Track A (and vice versa). Then duplicate this rack in Track B and you're made. Midi map the Chain selector to a knob or fader...voila!!
