I’ve been getting my APC80, APC40 and APC20 performance templates ready for Live 9, and that required decompiling the latest APC40 and APC20 MIDI Remote Scripts for Ableton. The scripts have been updated by Ableton, so unfortunately there will not be cross-compatibility between Live 8 and 9 for MIDI Remote Scripts.

So I had to decompile the new scripts, but as far as I could tell no one has done that yet.

Once I did manage to decompile them (using uncompyle2), the decompiler produced some errors in the scripts which had to be fixed.

I fixed said errors, and present to you the Ableton Live 9 APC40 and APC20 decompiled Python MIDI Remote Scripts.

Did you do it with the latest beta mate, they changed at 64!

You mean user scripts for Live 8 will not run in Live 9..?

S4racen: Whoops, nope. Didn't notice the loss of auto-updates. Guess I'll just wait until things have stabilized a bit.

Coupe70: Unfortunately that looks to be the case. There is new functionality in 9, and Ableton has updated the MIDI Remote Scripts core Framework to integrate with these. Someone correct me if I'm wrong?

Actually I just tested them in the latest beta (9.0b65) and they still work.
