Maschine to Midi track to NO OUTPUT

Hi
I am having trouble abit of trouble recording a track with Maschine on Ableton Live 8.3.4
Where I am upto.
I have created a beat in Maschine VST
I have passed the sound through a midi track and recorded
however there is no sound on the recorded track (sound is only coming from VST plug in)
There isnt a Master option in Output so i think this is the problem
Im using ASIO4ALL if that helps.
I have also noticed the if I play a loop there is a timing difference between VST & Midi on ableton - I believe this is a Latency problem
As you can tell I am quite new to this so any help would be appreciated.
