I've been told this:

I just want to make sure before I buy the upgrade. I got Live along with the APC 40. Is this 25% off deal an upgrade on what I have, or is it the same thing?

Not sure specifically on the APC but I am sure it is similar to the Launchpad edition where it is more like Live Lite. There are restrictions on channels (8 max) and no content or instruments. I upgraded my Launchpad edition immediatly to Live Suit so you would have to upgrade to either the full version of Live or to Live Suit.
