So confused about upgrades

If I have Suite 8, and upgrade to "regular" (non-suite 9), am I able to use my Live 8 suite instruments in 9? Collision, Operator, etc?

According to what they told me, yes. I have suite 8 and M4L. They said if I upgrade to standard I will keep all my old stuff and just miss out on 40GB (I think) of new sounds. But once you work it all out the 40GB doesn't cost too much so I might go for it.
