I forgot how to adjust the cpu usage.
Having a problem when track is stopped and idle cpu is at35% and when playing the track it goes over 100% and breaks up.

Tried freezing some tracks but couldn't because of compressors.

Suggestions?

the two primary ways (apart from using less CPU hungry devices) are to lower your sample rate (although you don't want to go lower than 44100 Hz), or increase your audio buffer size.

higher sample rates require more samples to be calculated per second. smaller buffer sizes require the buffer to be filled more quickly, with less margin for error.
