I'm pretty goddamn impressed with live 9 I have to say. the new display on the compressor and gate alone is worth it, and the convolution reverb included with M4L is awesome.

eh, im going to pay my car note.

This is the week my stance against filthy cars pays off.

Just noticed no discount period for Live 8 Suite to Live 9 Standard upgrades.

i just assumed that was going to be THE price(no discount) for the suite 8 to live 9 standard upgrade.
i was actually thinking about going that route, but i have concerns about max 4 live. (not that i use it a lot, but they make it seem like it's the big selling point for this upgrade(with all the fancy new devices and whatnot)

there are people (funken) who are saying, if you own suite8+m4l and you upgrade to standard 9, you keep all your instruments, they upgrade to the new versions, same with m4l. he says if you go suite 8 to standard 9, the only difference is 40GB of content.
something about that, doesn't add up to me.
some people say the content is worth it, but to me, it seems like, who would ever pay that extra money to go suite to suite, when you could have the same stuff going suite to standard?
