So all my custom racks get dumped into a generic non sorted "other" folder that i did not create in Categories and alias' cannot be seen in Categories
and since the Core library is locked you cannot fix it at that level either

is it me or is this the early signs of another half baked roll out
will it take another three years to fix something so simple

and thank you spending all your time on push videos and doing absolutely nothing to explain how you completely changed live's now confusing browser

yeah basic file sorting and house keeping doesn't matter at all

wow even adding a folder to places will not see an alias
neither does it even recognize all the subfolders

it's not you.. user content really comes 2nd place with the new browser..

alias folder are not supported either

If I remeber correctly in order, for the browser, to show in categories your own prests for Live instruments folder structure most mimic Live:

Analog
Bass
Keys
pads
etc.

I havent tried racks for vst's.

under the user library in Places all my racks are shown in their proper place in correct sub folders
under Categories they are all dumped into Others in one lump sum outside of their correct subfolders

so why two different places for devices, racks ect
also you cannot drag and drop a rack into categories you must do that in the user library

sorry fanboys but having two different live libraries is a poor idea
