One of the cooler features of the new browser is that you get previews for the various factory instruments. I have long wanted this, as it allows me to audition an instrument before loading it in the rack.


But it is not available for my own presets, instrument racks etc.

Would it be possible to enable saving of previews for my own presets? I am imagining an option that comes up when Live asks you to confirm the saving of a preset; if I said yes it would just record one note (at, say, C3) of the instrument in its current configuration and make this available as an auditable preview.

I LOVE the preset preview functionality. I suspect it must be possible to somehow do that for my own presets but haven't figured it out. If it's not yet possible then I'd really love for them to add it...

I like too a preview play for my own create sounds in user library. If it work in the way as the clip preview work (press right key to play preview) is good enough for me.

how i make previews of my own sounds and where i have to place my user sounds to be able to make a preview?

I totally agree...a preview function for user presets would greatly speed-up the creation process.

Yes! I'm surprised that this isn't an option. Feels really half baked without it.

I want this so bad.

Almost 2 years since my last post on this and still nothing. It would be such a useful feature. Even if it was just for the stock Live instruments.
