I opened my first file from V8 in V9 and a track with an arp is producing noticably different results. Checked the settings and nothing changed between versions. Recorded arp output to a midi track in each version and it definitely different.

The pic at that link shows V8 & V9 opened at the same time with the recorded results in each in the track called 2 midi from the source in each called 1 midi.

Seriously. Have to figure out what it's calculating incorrectly.

I noticed same problem with Arp outputting differently by loading L8 live set which used simple Arps. Everything else sounded reasonably same.

I'm seeing that it spits out multiple notes at once rather than one note at a time. That's gotta be a no-no for an arp.....

Is the mode on Chord Trigger?

No, it's on "up". I double checked that all the settings stayed the same from opening the file in 8 to 9, using a screencap. I even changed and reselected to settings back to make sure it hadn't gone to a default but not updated the displayed settings. I guess next step is to delete and re-add arp although that SHOULD NOT ever be necessary going from version to the next.

Seems it's a confirmed issue.
"This is indeed a known issue and our developer team is looking at it at the moment.
The only workaround for now is to import the recorded MIDI tracks, in order to have the same result.
Alternatively, you should be able to achieve the same results by shortening the MIDI notes fed to the arpeggiator: it seems in fact that the Live 9 arpeggiator generates a MIDI note more than expected when it is set to match the end of a bar/beat."
Their shorten the notes bit didn't work either. Nothing in the Arp is changed....so how did they manage to break it?!?!?!?

As far as I could see, the problem is in latch mode. Atm you can either use the legato option in the midi clip, and lenghten the gate (!) or use the HOLD m4l device, or stretch the the starting point of the notes to the left, just by an imperceptible amount.(full zoom). Anyway, I just wanted to let you know that it exists, since nobody seems to mention it, not even in the new beta changelog... we'll see..

They probably changed a lot of stuff to convert it to 64 bit. That said if you are still on 32 bit they probably still had to tweak things probably for compatibility purposes.
